The thread lift is a minimally invasive procedure in which self-dissolving threads are inserted into the skin tissue through a small stitch. During this procedure, the skin is pulled to the side of the eye and eyebrow without showing signs of surgery. In contrast to a surgical lift with a scalpel, the thread lift does not pull the face into a new position, therefore the natural facial expression is preserved. Furthermore, the threads used not only tighten and firm the area, but also stimulate the body’s own collagen production. The result is a lively and seductive eye area.
The Cat eye Lift is performed under local anesthesia and takes about 30 – 60 minutes. During the procedure, the stitches are placed under the skin next to the eye through a small puncture with a thin guide needle. There they form a network that raises the eyebrow and the skin of the eye. The needles are then removed and the threads remain under the skin. The threads are of high quality and the body breaks them down without leaving any residue.
No wounds remain due to the puncture, only two small punctures per suture, therefore no subsequent wound treatment is necessary. If slight swellings or bruises occur after the treatment, they can be reduced by cooling them down. For the next 3-5 days, avoid a too pronounced facial expression.
