During the treatment Botox is injected into the masseter, the posterior masticatory muscle. Botox ensures that the masseter relaxes and the volume of the muscle slowly decreases. In addition to narrowing the face, this treatment is also used for migraine therapy.
As with every Botox treatment, the effect takes about 14 days until it is visible. Since the active ingredient is broken down by the body over time, the treatment should be repeated regularly to maintain the desired result. The durability of the result of a treatment is 3 – 6 months.

How long does the result last?
The result lasts approx. 3 – 6 months.
What do I have to consider before a treatment?
There should always be a minimum interval of 3 months between treatments to avoid the formation of antibodies and thus the loss of efficacy.
Dr. Ugurlu does not carry out the treatment during pregnancy and lactation.
On the day of the treatment do not drink alcohol and do not use make-up for the treatment
1 week before the treatment no blood-thinning medication (e.g. aspirin, Thomapyrin, vitamins C and E, ginkgo preparations etc.), antibiotics or cortisone
2 weeks before the injection, do not have any dental treatment, vaccinations, laser therapy in the same region or invasive cosmetic treatments. There must be no infection, cold or herpes.
